Operations is the function that moves a cargo from contract to settlement. It covers vessels, terminals, surveyors, documentation, and counterparty management across every trade we handle.
Cargoes are moved through charter contracts and approved fleets via established freight broker relationships. Route planning, voyage monitoring, and demurrage management run in coordination with brokers, agents, and counterparty operations teams. Storage and terminal capacity is contracted through long-term operator relationships across the regions we trade in.
Every cargo is sampled and certified by independent surveyors at both load and discharge, with retained samples held to contract and industry standards. Bills of lading, certificates of origin and quality, letters of indemnity, bunker confirmation notes, and payment instruments are prepared and exchanged alongside the commercial workflow rather than after it.
Sanctions screening is built into counterparty onboarding and re-applied at the transaction level. Counterparties that do not clear screening are not transacted with, and deal structures are not designed to work around it. This applies across all products, regions, and counterparty types without exception.
